I love Book Clubs, don’t you?

I'm a member of one myself. I look forward to those monthly meetings, and not just for the gossip and refreshments, either! I find it great fun to talk to other readers about books we’ve been reading, and especially mine! J

If your book club wants to discuss Dance On His Grave or Deadly Sins-Deadly Secrets with me, either in person (if you meet within a two-hour drive of Georgetown, Texas or by phone, Contact Me  and let me know what dates and times are best for you.

I will furnish signed bookplates to any person or group who purchases five or more copies of either of these books. Contact Me and let me know how many signed bookplates you need and the personalization for each. Of course, if I attend, I will autograph each one for you.

I've provided an initial set of discussion questions for Dance On His Grave, below. If your book club comes up with your own questions, please Contact Me so I can include it in the list for other clubs.

Discussion questions for Deadly Sins-Deadly Secrets are now in development.

  1. What one sentence in the book describes the theme of the story?

  2. Some readers have described Dance On His Grave as mystery, others, suspense, others paranormal, and then, other have said it is a romance. How do you categorize the book, and why?

  3. What do Sid and Ben have going for them, concerning a relationship. Should they get together? Or should Sid give herself more time to find herself?

  4. Sid chops off her hair with a pair of pinking shears. What symbolism do you see in this action?

  5. Fans have said they read the book in one sitting, once they started, they couldn’t stop. If the book was that for you, what kept you glued to the pages? What elements built the suspense for you?

  6. Did you read the book as a mystery? Or a suspense? What is the difference, and how does that affect the reading of the book?

  7. How did the author weave in the protagonist’s personal issues within the story line? Did they fit?

  8. Did you think someone else was the greater antagonist than was Roy? How did your opinion of him change throughout the course of the book?

  9. Describe the metaphors that meant the most to you.

  10. How might Sid’s story replicate stories of other women?
